• Distribution: North & Eastern Australia
• Size: 3" - 4"
• Natural habitat:Another arboreal frog that inhabits the mixed woodland and tropical rain forest
habitats of Australia. When captive, adults require a 10 gallon enclosure.
• Behavior: Most will become tame with regular handling. Usually tame but frequent handling will stress the animal. Usually quite docile and shy. Wash hands after handling.
• Captive environment: Use full spectrum lighting 12-14 hours per day. Use low light only, this species is mostly nocturnal. Provide a basking area with access to a cooler zone.
• Temperature: Maintain day temperature gradient between 76-82 degrees F. Maintain night
temperature range between 70-75 degrees F. Use low wattage heat lamp in well ventilated
enclosure.
• Humidity: This species requires moderate to high levels of humidity.
• Water requirements: Provide a large shallow bowl for drinking and soaking. Mist enclosure every 3-4 days. Use only dechlorinated water.
• Nutritional requirements: This species is a carnivore (meat eater). Feeds on small mammals such as pink baby mice. Always offer variety for proper nutrition. Dust food with calcium and vitamins. Feed crickets, wax worms and butter worms.
